11 actors and actresses who hate a movie in which they starred
Actors and actresses usually get a script and then decide if they want to accept a role.
Sometimes, however, they may bag their dream role before realizing they don’t like the movie itself. Box office hit or not, if they think the movie sucks, nothing’s going to change their mind.
Here are 11 actors/actresses who didn’t like one of their movies and were happy to say so.

Over 8 movies, we saw Daniel Radcliffe grow up, as Harry Potter and his friends spent more or less 10 years on set! Problems started when Daniel felt he had morphed into his character and that people only knew him for his Harry Potter role. When the time came to film the 6th installment, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, our favorite wizard wasn’t in a good place and consequently didn't enjoy making the movie.
2. Robert Pattinson - Twilight

Even though the Twilight series shot Robert Pattison to superstar status, it’s no secret that he hated the movies. There was even a blog that quoted the actor’s feelings on the subject including “the more I read the script, the more I hated this guy… Plus he’s a 108 year-old virgin so he’s obviously got some issues there”.
3. George Clooney - Batman & Robin

George Clooney’s a great actor, but he still has a number of flops to his name and Batman & Robin (1997) tops the list. This film was such a disaster that Batman was sent back to his cave for 8 years before another sequel was made. Clooney himself apologized to his fans and Adam West, the actor who played Batman in the iconic 60s TV show.
4. Halle Berry - Catwoman

Sticking to superheroes, Catwoman also got a lot of publicity, once again for the wrong reasons. Slammed by both critics and audiences, Halle Berry was awarded a Golden Raspberry for Worst Actress. That said, she took it in her stride and even turned up to accept her Razzie (unlike many actors) and gave a speech where she thanked Warner Bros for putting her “’in a God-awful movie”.
5. Alec Guinness - Star Wars

Although Sir Alec Guinness did say that his next movie, ‘Star Wars’, could be "fairy tale rubbish" no one was going to criticize such a seasoned actor. Having won an Oscar 20 years before Star Wars came out, the thespian never hid his disdain for Obi-Wan Kenobi and contempt for the movie's sequels.
6. Sean Connery - James Bond

It’s no secret that Sean Connery disliked the Bond movies and felt that 007 quickly became a parody of himself. By way of cutting ties with his character, he donated his record-breaking paycheck from Diamonds Are Forever to The Scottish International Education Trust, a charity he had founded.
7. Sandra Bullock - Speed 2: Cruise Control

Sequels are often box office flops and Speed 2 was no exception. Sandra Bullock received poor reviews and openly regretted having taken on the role.
8. Bill Murray - Garfield

Bill Murray’s always been a Cohen Brothers fan so he leaped at the chance to take part in Garfield. The problem was that the scriptwriter wasn't one of the famous Cohen Brothers, but rather an unknown writer called Joel Cohen, meaning the funny man found himself stuck with a role that he later regretted.
9. Jim Carrey - Kick-Ass 2

Jim Carrey was happy with this movie until the Sandy Hook shooting, which led the actor to reassess his life and values. He didn’t regret taking the lead role, but declared that he could not support the “level of violence” in Kick-Ass 2.
10. Chloe Grace Moretz - Red Shoes & the 7 Dwarfs
Even before its release, this movie was being slammed and the actress who played the lead didn’t hide her dismay at the body-shaming marketing campaign behind ‘What if Snow White was no longer beautiful and the 7 Dwarfs not so short’.
11. Margot Robbie – Suicide Squad
Margot Robbie liked her character, Harley Quinn, more than her wardrobe, as she was forced to wear skimpy outfits despite the harsh winter weather! She tried, in vain, to persuade the director to let her wear more clothes, but her pleas fell on deaf ears… As the saying goes, ‘everything comes with a price’ - Hollywood fame included!
