And we’re living in this mystery. Here’s some proof: all those inexplicable things that come up out of nowhere, that no one can fundamentally explain. Only a few theories or speculations can attempt to shed light on certain facts.
When you look a little closer, you’ll see how surprising life is. You just have to look a little better at what’s going on around you. Here are 13 images of coincidences (or not) that will probably leave you speechless.
Do you believe in reincarnation? These images may disturb you...?
1. Enzo Ferrari and Mesut Özil
Enzo Ferrari, founder of the prestigious car brand that bears his name, died in 1988. One month after his death, Mesut Özil, a German soccer player, was born. There seems to be a family relationship between the two men, and yet there is none. Could it be reincarnation?
2. Zubaida Tharwat and Jennifer Lawrence
Yet again, there’s no family relationship between Jennifer Lawrence and Egyptian actress Zubaida Tharwat. In the end, the only thing they have in common is their chosen profession. However, no one can deny a real resemblance between the two women. In this case, we can’t call it reincarnation, since Zubaida died in 2016.
3. The Titanic had already sunk before its famous disaster

It was in 1898, or 14 years before the Titanic sank, that Morgan Robertson, an American writer, published a book entitled Futility. It was the story of a ship named “Titan.” that sank. Surprisingly, the characteristics of the two boats seem to be quite similar: they were both unsinkable, had identical technical details and the same number of lifeboats, and collided with icebergs in the North Atlantic.
After the tragedy of the Titanic, the work reappeared under the title Futility, or The Wreck of the Titan.

4. A prestigious couple of neighbors, with centuries between them
If they had lived in the same era, German composer George Handel and famous guitarist Jimi Hendrix would’ve been neighbors. They both lived in London – Handel lived at 25 Brook Street and Hendrix lived at 23 Brook Street. Their connection to music and the fact that they lived in the same place, demonstrates a certain similarity in the creativity of the two men. Indeed, they both had a major influence on music in their respective eras.

5. The Hoover Dam tragedy
On December 20, 1922, George Tierney died on the Hoover Dam, which was built on the Colorado River between Arizona and Nevada. He was commissioned to build the dam and was one of the first victims on the scene. His son, Patrick Tierney, was fascinated by his father and decided to follow in his footsteps in the occupation. He was the last person to die during the construction of the dam. But the strangest thing is that he died on the same day as his father: December 20th. Do you think it was karma?

6. The only cars on the roads – and they collided
In 1895, there were only two vehicles on the roads in Ohio. At that time, cars were just beginning to be developed and only the very rich had access to this privilege. Nevertheless, these two cars found a way to meet and collided with each other. Unfortunately, no official record of this collision was recorded, and there’s no documentary evidence of this accident.

8. The first and last soldiers
All the British soldiers who died during WWI have a memorial headstone in a cemetery in the country. The tombs of the first and last soldier who died on the battlefield face each other and are only 6 meters apart. This arrangement happened by chance, as it was not at all deliberate.

9. Rumors about Edgar Allan Poe’s time machine
Just like the surprising story of Titan and Titanic, Edgar Allan Poe must have had visions of the future. In fact, in his book The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket, he tells the story of four sailors who survived a shipwreck. They were forced to eat one of the ship boys, named Richard Parker. Although Edgar Allan Poe had claimed it was based on real events, nothing could ever prove it, because no event or story of its kind had ever been claimed.
Less than 50 years after the novel was published, a boat sank in the open sea and the crew survived. During that event, they were forced to eat one among them named...Richard Parker! As terrifying as it may be, many rumors began to spread, saying that the writer must have had a time machine.

The driver of the taxi was the same man, and he was carrying the same passenger as before.

A while later, the actor met the author who mentioned that he no longer had any copies of his book either. In fact, he had lent it to a friend who left it on the subway!

13. “The Simpsons” TV show is a true source of predictions
The World Trade Center, faulty voting machines, the Spanghero horse meat scandal...and the election of Donald Trump have all been portrayed on “The Simpsons,” long before they happened in real life. In 2000, Donald Trump became President of the USA in an episode of “The Simpsons,” and 17 years later, this event became a reality. Another startling fact: some of the snapshots taken during Trump’s election campaign on “The Simpsons” are eerily similar to the reality that occurred 17 years later.
