The 13 most anticipated movies of 2017
There are many highly anticipated films in 2017, including some that have been announced for several years! Adaptations, new installments of extremely popular movie series, as well as original films; There is something for everyone, but those who love action films will be the most satisfied.
1. Beauty and the Beast
The classic Disney cartoon has been redone to fit today's audiences. The story revolves around the character played by Idris Elba, who is in search of a dark tower capable of saving all of humanity. It is an action-packed film full of weapons, destruction, and death. Early reactions to the excerpts are mixed.

5. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Poor Captain Sparrow is down on his luck: his old enemy Captain Salazar escapes from Devil’s Triangle determined to kill every pirate still around. Jack's only hope is to find the mythical Trident of Poseidon, which gives unlimited power over the oceans and seas. Unfortunately, he’ll have to settle for his small, broke-down boat to embark on this quest and save himself.

6. Wonder Woman
In this film, director Patty Jenkins gives us a look at Wonder Woman's past. In fact, we learn that the heroine grew up on a secret island and was trained by warriors. When an airplane crashes on her little piece of paradise, Diana (then Princess of the Amazons) learns that the Earth is in the grip of a major conflict and decides to use her powers to save the planet.

7. Tulip Fever
If you like thwarted love stories against the backdrop of a great historical saga, this adaptation is for you! Alicia Vikander plays a very young girl unhappily married to an older rich Dutch man. But meeting a young painter will change her life. However, in order to run away with him, she has to raise money, which they do by getting into the tulip trade. The sets are superb, as well as the costumes and acting. It’s all a good time in perspective...

8. Star Wars, Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
The Last Jedi starts immediately where the previous episode ended: the main character, Rey, has just handed her lightsaber to Luke Skywalker. The details of this character’s origins and the film’s plot are still secret, but they will be revealed in this logical sequence of The Force Awakens.

9. Submergence

This thriller tells the story of a couple separated by distance, facing some pretty dangerous situations, each in their own way. One is held captive by jihadists in Somalia, while the other is about to dive to the deepest parts of the ocean on the other side of the planet. We learn about their difficulties and the love that binds them together and pushes them forward to fight.

10. Ghost in the Shell
This adaptation of a Japanese manga tells the story of a police woman (Scarlett Johansson) hot on the trail of a terrible computer pirate (Puppeteer), who threatens to destroy a major company and take control of the government. Robot killers, technology, and science fiction amid impressive images, make it a typical cyberpunk movie.

11. Kong: Skull Island
A group of explorers land on a lost Pacific island to realize that this mission is not as simple as it sounds. The island isn’t protected by its owner but by the terrible Kong, who will quickly try to get rid of them.

The adventures of the joyful team continue through the cosmos, while Peter Quill asks questions about his father and tries to understand where he came from. He finally proves himself and convinces his former enemies to join him on his quest.
