14 pictures of animals chosen as the funniest of the year

This festival was created 2 years ago and rewards the best pictures of the animal world.

Registration is still open for the 2017 edition, but the judges already have set their sights on some of the funniest pictures submitted for the contest.

But although this award is funny at first, the two founders and photographers, Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam, fight for the conservation of the flora and fauna of our planet.

For two years, the two friends have seen fantastic pictures, which has encouraged them to continue their mission. "We want to see even more animals represented than before. Go out and photograph, wherever you are ... a squirrel could win the competition... we want to raise awareness of conservation of all animals all over the world, so wherever you are, take pictures of those wilder things!"

You only have until September 30 to register and enter one or more pictures for the contest. In the meantime, for a little humor, the two photographers have agreed to show us the best shots they’ve received so far.
