A degree in engineering usually opens the door to a well-paid career where problem-solving skills are essential. That said, there are plenty of people who are creative thinkers when it comes to dealing with annoying, everyday situations - repairing broken objects, adapting something to make it work better or simply coming up with the solution to a tricky problem.
