25 Hogwarts students who have changed as if by magic

The first installment of Harry Potter was released 16 years ago in 2001.

Although we remember the faces of the saga’s heroes, they have changed. The metamorphoses were already visible from the first episode to the last, but they are even more prevalent today. The little wizards have indeed grown up!

While some have continued their acting careers, others have hung up their Hogwarts uniforms and gone into the world of business or sports.

Here is a portrait of 25 students from Dumbledorf's school, when they were filmed and what they look like now.

1. Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy)

After perfectly playing the role of a proud and arrogant child, Tom remains an accomplished actor. But he chose to go back to his natural hair color and left behind the bleach jobs that were essential for his role as Draco Malfoy.

2. Sean Biggerstaff (Oliver Wood)

He was the captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Now he has abandoned his flying broom and planted his feet on solid ground. He remains a very respected actor, playing in both theater and on the big screen. He won a BAFTA for Best Actor.

3. Stanislav Ianevski (Viktor Krumm)

Stanislav took advantage of his fame in Harry Potter to pursue his career in his country. He is now very popular in Bulgaria.

4. Luke Youngblood (Lee Jordan)

LThe role behind the microphone in Harry Potter paved the way for him to become a singer. In fact, Luke Youngblood records albums and performs soundtracks and plays in musicals.

5. Hugh Mitchell (Colin Creevey)

Thanks to his talent, Hugh has embraced a career as a seasoned actor. He also sings songs and writes soundtracks for movies.

6. Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood)

Evanna became a big hit in the Harry Potter saga. She has received numerous accolades after her role as Luna Lovegood. Logically, today she is pursuing her career as an actress.

7. Jamie Yeates (Marcus Flint)

This actor literally disappeared from screens. No one really knows what became of him or what he is pursuing.

8. Alfred Enoch (Dean Thomas)

Still an actor, this young Englishman has landed a role in "Sherlock."

9. Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley)

Acting has always been a big part of his life. Chris was one of the founding members of the "Painted Horse" theater troupe. Today, he works behind the cameras as a producer.

10. Katie Leung (Cho Chang)

Katie studies photography at a university in London. At the same time, she continues her career as an actress and accepts roles when they are presented to her.

11. Louis Cordice (Blaise Zabini)

Louis Cordice has also disappeared from screens. He has kept his personal life private. In fact, a father of three children, he has decided to remain close to them and cherish what he has. Of course, he also remains a huge football fan.

12. Freddie Stroma (Cormac McLaggen)

This young prodigy went from one successful saga to another. In fact, he managed to land a role in the mythical series "Game of Thrones." He played Dickon Tarly in season 6.

13. Josh Herdman (Gregory Goyle)

Goodbye to movie screens and hello the octagons of the MMA (mixed martial arts). Josh excels in this free fighting sport. He recently won a title and keeps accumulating victories.

14. Harry Melling (Dudley Dursley)

Harry Melling used to play Harry Potter's cousin. Over the course of the episodes, he lost so much weight that he had to wear a special suit to continue playing the role of Dudley Dursley. Today, he appears in many English television shows.

15. Afshan Azad (Padma Patil)

Through her role in Harry Potter, Afshan became a very famous model. This young Bengalese woman is now known worldwide and is considered one of the most beautiful Bengalese models in the world.

16. Shefali Chowdhury (Parvati Patil)

Shefali's presence on the screens has become scarce. In fact, no one knows exactly what became of her... She only played in three Harry Potter films and appeared in 2 short films in 2015.

17. Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan)

The young man has two jobs: actor and businessman.

18. Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown)

Ron Weasely's ex-girlfriend married a stand-up comedian and continues to take on different movie and TV roles.

19. Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacour)

Everyone knows how beautiful she is. The young lady is still an actress, but she also gets calls to take pictures and walk the runways for the fashion world. Her last movie appearances were in War and Peace, In Bruges, 127 Hours, and many other films.

20. Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley)

After Harry Potter, the girl got her Bachelor of Arts degree. She is now an entrepreneur, since she founded her own company. At the same time, she became an advertising spokesperson for a jewelry store. But she hasn’t given up her career as an actress, since she continues to appear in movies and TV programs.

21. Scarlett Byrne (Pansy Parkinson)

The beautiful English actress continues to be successful, as she plays Nora in the famous series "The Vampire Diaries."

22. Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)

He is perhaps the person who has changed the most between the series and now. The handsome man continues to appear in several films.

23. Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley)

He has become an undisputed star in Ireland, his native country. And the rest if the world sees him the same way. Domhnall became a writer and a very talented director. He continues his acting career by playing in The Revenant, True Grit, Anna Karenina, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

24 and 25. James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley)

The Weasley twins have continued their acting careers, but they’ve gone back to their original hair color!
