Prom night... The moment when we finally kiss goodbye to our high school years and get the chance to show off the outfit we've been planning for months. And then there's the 'date issue' - have we got one, how will they dress and, if they get it wrong, dare we have our photo taken with them knowing that in this social network age, any fail will go viral before the end of the night!
But if you have or once had pre-prom nerves, then spare a thought for these 25 people/couples who won't be forgetting their big night in a hurry!

No one invited Allison Closs to the prom, but rather than feeling sorry for herself, she took a cardboard cut-out of Danny DeVito.
She thought about other celebrities such as Bill Nye, the Science Guy, but she didn't have enough money to pay for a custom-made cut-out.
Fortunately she found a Danny DeVito cardboard on Amazon that cost a reasonable $100. She added a tie and boutonniere and then took him to the prom on a scooter. And to make things even funnier, she managed to keep her date a secret, although her family and closest friends knew what she was up to!
She says her mum was sceptical and although her friends liked the idea, they didn't think she'd go through with it!
As it turned out, the other students loved Allison's date and lined up for photos that quickly went viral. It was then that Rob McElhenney, one of DeVito's co-stars, saw the photo and came up with an awesome Instagram reply!
As McElhenney wrote in his post 'I heard you took cardboard Danny to the prom. What a coincidence. DeVito took Allison's cardboard to Paddy's!'
