Most of us make resolutions with each New Year's Eve, but we often forget about the role that luck plays when it comes to getting it off to a good start! Some people believe that the first few days of a new year lay the foundation for what's to come over the following 12 months...

He kept the little girl entertained for the entire journey, so when they arrived at their destination the dad gave the designer a lift to his hotel. They stayed in touch and have since become good buddies!

26. This young Syrian refugee shines shoes in a Turkish town and in between customers would stare through the window of a gym. One day a woman took this photo and shared his story on her social networks. People were so touched that they raised enough money to buy him a lifetime membership!
