It is considered a major event in the life of high school students who are near graduation.

Everyone asks someone to be their date, and popular guys and girls are often sought after.

High school students who are stars in their sports are among the most in demand. This was the case with Ben Moser, a football player who was popular at his high school. He chose to ask Mary Lapkowicz to the prom.

Mary has Down Syndrome. For several years, Ben Moser had always looked out for her as if she were his own sister, making sure that she fit in and comforting her when she was sad.

In 4th grade, he promised her that he would take her to the senior prom. On May 8, 2015, 7 years later, Ben kept his promise, while Mary had completely forgotten about it.

So she had a wonderful evening thanks to this young man with a big heart...
