9 theme parks inspired by famous movies, TV shows, and comic strips. Which ones would you like to visit?
Theme parks thrilled us when we were little, but everyone agrees that the magic never really disappears. Indeed, even as adults, there are theme parks that we absolutely want to check out!
1. Pandora: The World of Avatar
People are eagerly waiting for this park, and it’s expected to open soon.
2. Parc Astérix
Located in France, near Paris.
3. Star Wars Legends Park
The opening of this highly anticipated park won’t be until 2018!
4. Toy Story Land
Disney has announced plans to open an amusement park dedicated to the world of Toy Story.
5. Hunger Games Park
You’ll have to wait until 2018 to visit the first Hunger Games Park, which will open in Atlanta, followed by the second park, which will open in 2019 Macau. (It was recently announced that plans for the Atlanta park have been put on hold for now.)
6. Parc Spirou
Parc Spirou, based on the comic strip, will open this summer in Monteux, a commune in the south of France.
7. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
This park offers visitors the opportunity to experience the famous sites from the film series in Hollywood.
8. The Simpson’s Ride at Universal Studios
Located in California, The Simpsons Ride offers visitors the opportunity to visit the famous city of Springfield.
9. Shrek's Adventure
This park opened in London in 2015.
