A brilliant tip for a clean and fresh toilet. Just think about it!
Cleaning the bathroom is never fun, but it's a necessary task of hygiene. To do it economically and easy, here is a recipe from a grandmother.
Most products used to clean toilets are powerful and potentially toxic. Plus, they're rather expensive.
To prepare an effective and inexpensive cleaner, gather the following ingredients:
- 60 ml of lemon juice
- 160 g baking soda
- 20 drops of scented oil
- 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide (3% hydrogen peroxide found in drugstores)
- 1/2 tablespoon of white vinegar
In a bowl, pour the baking soda, and then add the lemon juice.
In another bowl, pour the hydrogen peroxide and white vinegar. Next, pour this micture into the first bowl containing the baking soda and lemon juice. Add scented oil.
Use a small measuring spoon to form heaps from the mixture. Arrange them on a sheet of wax or parchment paper to dry.
Let them dry overnight. Put them in a glass jar and keep the jar near the toilet, within easy reach.
Every time your toilet needs to be refreshed, toss in one of these pellets. Miracles will happen!
