A trick for listening to YouTube while doing something else on your smartphone!
Everyone who has the habit of watching YouTube videos on their smartphone knows this problem: the video gets interrupted when you get a notification, like when you get a text and automatically click on it out of habit.
Fortunately, there are ways to avoid this nuisance by displaying the YouTube video in the background, which allows you to look at it while doing something else on your phone.
For Android smartphones
- AudioPocket: an app to download from the Play Store, with which you just copy and paste the video's URL
- MusicTube (from Aptoide): the Play Store is useless, you have to download Aptoide to use it.
- SuperTube (from your computer)!
to download in .apk format on your PC, then transfer it to your smartphone
For iOS smartphones
Open Safari, and then YouTube using a search engine. When Safari asks if you want to open the YouTube app, refuse. Open YouTube directly in the browser.
For Windows Phone
- MyTube (for a fee): this app is the most effective, but it costs 99 cents
- Hyper: a free app, but it comes with a few problems!
