Don't throw away those anti-moisture pouches that you find in your shoes anymore, because they can be very useful!
Surely you've gotten bags of silica when buying shoes or electronic equipment.
The purpose of these granules is to protect your products by absorbing moisture that may occur.
Personally, I've always thrown them away, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. However, they can be very useful in many situations!
Here are 10 tips for using silica gel:
1: Has your portable device gotten wet and you're worried? Simply remove the battery, memory card if there is one, and the sim card, and put in a box with silica gel bags so that water can be absorbed!
2: Are you going on vacation and your clothes are wet, and smell musty? Consider placing some bags of silica gel in your suitcase, and the results will make you happy!
3: Does your bag stink after playing sports? And your locker too? Put some bags of silica gel inside and the problem should no longer be a worry.
4: Do you have a camera and your lens is fogged up? Putting bags of silica gel into the camera bag, and the problem should be solved! Ditto if your device has suffered some water damage!
5: To make sure your seeds stay dry once the packet is opened, store them in an airtight Tupperware container with some silica gel... They'll have no trouble surviving the winter!
6: Need to dry some leaves quickly? Just wrap them in paper with a few bags of silica gel.
7: To keep your pictures preserved as long as possible, consider putting a few bags of silica gel in the box where you store them. It will protect them from mold too.
8: Put a few bags of silica gel in your drawers to protect your silverware or jewelry! Do the same to protect your other metals from rust!
9: Knowing that your razor blades regularly come in contact with water, you can prevent them from getting dull or rusty by storing them in a plastic container with a few bags of silica gel. That's a way to keep from having to change them so often!
10: Tired of condensation on your windshield? Just put a few bags of silica gel behind it and you'll see, it's amazing!
It's quite incredible, all the things you can do with these little bags! One more little tip - they are reusable! When they get wet, just put them in an oven between 120 and 150 degrees and wait until they get dry!
