As explained by the colleagues at Démotivateur, "This shock campaign was carried out with the advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather Advertising of Bangkok, for PETA Asia, in order to alert people about the exotic skin trade and the cruel underlying abuse of it."

"Every year, hundreds of thousands of reptiles are captured and killed in the context for the exotic skin industry. However, people don’t know how these reptiles suffer before being turned into shoes, belts, or bags. We know that the only way to help these animals is to alarm people, so they realize that they are part of this criminal act, even if it’s indirectly. We hope that this campaign will wake people up," explains the vice president of PETA Asia!
