Aral Sea in Central Asia. August 2000 - August 2014.
Lake Oroville, California. July 2010 - August 2016.
Carroll Glacier, Alaska. August 1906 - September 2003.
Lake Powell in Arizona and Utah. March 1999 - May 2014.
Bear Glacier, Alaska. July 1909 - August 2005.
Rondônia Forest in Brazil. June 1975 - August 2009.
McCarty Glacier, Alaska. July 1909 - August 2004.
Dasht River in Pakistan. August 1999 – June 2011 The Mirani Dam was built on this river, supplying potable water and electricity to the surrounding villages. It also helps sustain the local agriculture.
The Matterhorn in the Alps, on the Swiss-Italian border. August 1960 - August 2005.
Mabira Forest in Uganda. November 2001 - January 2006.
Toboggan Glacier, Alaska. June 1909 - September 2000.
The Great Man-Made River in Libya, April 1987 - April 2010. This project was one of the most ingenious in the world, because it’s made of various pipe systems, wells, and aqueducts, all more than 1600 feet deep. The water system provides water to the desert area.

Mar Chiquita Lake in Argentina. July 1998 - September 2011.
Muir Glacier, Alaska. August 1941 - August 2004.
Uruguay’s forests, March 1975 - February 2009. Uruguay has successfully increased the surface area from 174 square miles to 3500 square miles. But the diversity of the flora and fauna there has diminished drastically.
