For 4 years he has colected used crayons with a beautiful goal in mind! A man with a big heart...
Bryan Ware is a dad from San Francisco who just had a brilliant idea to reuse crayons that have been thrown away by schools and restaurants.
The man melts them so he can recycle them, and he gives them to children in hospitals.
The idea was born in 2011 when he was in a restaurant celebrating his birthday. Seeing his small sons get crayons to keep them busy, he wondered what happened to them once they were used.
From there, he created 'The Crayon Initiative,' a small non-profit that distributes the crayons in hospitals all over California!
A genius idea when we realize that there are at least 34,000 kg of pencils thrown away every year by restaurants and schools!
