He built an igloo and put it up for rent on Airbnb... They deleted the ad and sent him a funny message!
A New Yorker, who goes by the name of Patrick Horton, had a great time during the snowstorm that hit a good portion of the United States last weekend.
He began to build an igloo in the street. A job that took him 6 hours and one for which he didn't lack any sense of humor.
Patrick Horton indeed placed an ad on the Airbnb website in which he offered his igloo for rent, accompanied by the following description: 'Built with ingenuity and designed to make the most of the 2016 snow. 'Hand-crafted, and built using only natural elements - this chic igloo offers the experience of a lifetime for you and bae.'
Not surprisingly, the staff in charge of the Airbnb website quickly took down the ad, but also cracked a joke in responding to the jokester advertiser: 'We are pleased to see that you continue to take care and have fun during this storm. But unfortunately, your igloo, while very well constructed, has failed to meet our occupancy and safety standards. So logically, it has been removed from our search results. Next time, offer a place with running water, electricity, and a roof that won't melt, and it will all be good! '
