He has 66,000 cups filled with water placed side by side. When the camera moves away, it's quite a surprise...
As you know, we like showing you the genius of people who happen to transform anything and everything to create surprising things!
As you'll see, today it's simply cups of water...
For Canadian Serge Belo, it just took 66,000 paper cups, some dye, and a dash of creativity to create this amazing project. What differentiates the many cups he sets on the ground is the color of the water in them... But it only starts to make sense when you move away from and above the project.
The purpose is also to convey a message and raise people's awareness of water issues around the planet. The different shades represent the various levels of impurities in water found around the world.
The picture at the end of this project was enlarged and printed, and it was sold at an auction organized for World Water Day.
"66,000 cups with as many wishes for a world where the lack of access to clean water will be a thing of the past,' explains the Canadian artist.
