Angelo Mastropietro has always wanted to show his ambition, and today he’s sharing the wonder he built. His cave!
One day, while looking for shelter during a severe storm, he came across this famous cave.
He fell in love with it immediately, bought the land, quit his job, and fully devoted himself to developing his cave.
Right before he bought it, Angelo had learned that he had multiple sclerosis. So this cave would make him want to fight and not give up in life.
He dug and carved the cave... and he excavated 70 tons of stone by hand! (You read that right!)
Most of the materials he used are natural: he went with stone and wood, which have a nice rustic feel.
He spent more than 1,000 hours during the construction of the house.
