In secret, she took a picture of what this boy did with her son. Today she is asking for help to find this child...
He's only a year old, yet little Kaden suffers from spinal muscular atrophy, which prevents him from getting around like any other boy. He needs a wheelchair and has trouble when he has to make certain movements. The result: people look at him strangely when he's out in public, which does not please his mom at all.
A few days ago when he was visiting the 'South Florida Science Center and Aquarium' in West Palm Beach, Florida, another child came over to help little Kaden by playing with him just as if he were any other child. This strongly affected his mom, so she decided to send him a message on Facebook with a picture of the two little ones playing together.
The message quickly went viral, receiving more than 250,000 likes.
'To the little boy at the science museum, I don't know who you are, but thank you for being amazing! You didn't ask what was wrong with him or why he couldn't walk, you just played with him. You will probably never see this, but just by being you, you make this world better! '
Katie Meyers confided in the 'Huffington Post' about the reaction caused by her message, in which she explained that she never dreamed it would go this far. 'It sounds so cliché, but this made me think about how one person can really change the world, and how one person can really spark some kind of discussion that can change the way people think about things.'
This child didn't pay any attention to differences; he just saw another child who he had the chance to play with!
All this restores some hope in humanity!
