Mother and son: they love each other and want to make a child to immortalize their love...
Actually, you read that right. A 51-year-old mother, Kim West, is having a romantic relationship with her son, Ben Ford, who is 32 years old.
Given up at birth, it was only in 2013 that the mother and son met each other as a result of Ben's efforts.
The man, who was married at the time, communicated with his unknown mother through letters. And it was during this time that they fell in love and they discovered they had a 'Genetic Sexual Attraction'.
This term was invented in the 80s and represents a sexual attraction between a parent and child who first got to know each other in adulthood.
Then, Ben divorced his wife in order to fully experience his new relationship!
Here's what the mother said about their actions: 'We are meant to be together. I know people will say we're disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings. But when you're hit by a love so consuming you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it. It's a once in a lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from.'
