The best cheating techniques unveiled by teachers
Some teachers have unveiled the best cheating techniques they have encountered during their careers. Here are the 15 best techniques identified.
'During a biology test, one student wrote his notes on pieces of gum. Then he made sure to chew the evidence... one piece at a time! '
'During an exam, one girl wrote her notes on her thigh, and covered it all up with a mini-skirt.'
'One student asked to go to the bathroom. She had stuck papers with the answers under the toilet seat.'
'I recorded the answers to tests on my MP3 player and I would put my headphones under my T-Shirt, and then hide them with my hair. It worked every time!'
'My friend was behind me during a quiz. If he got stuck on a question, he would tap the problem number on my back. For example, if it was number 25, it was 2 taps, a pause, and then 5 taps. Then I tapped my head one, two, three, or four times, for A, B, C, or D.'
'One student removed the label from a bottle of soda, and printed a new one. It had been changed with Photoshop. The student had written the answers where the list of ingredients would normally have been.'
'Two students used M&Ms to cheat on a quiz. If one of them didn't know an answer, the other would eat an M&M corresponding to the right answer: A, B, C, or D.'
'One class became famous for their method. All the students in the front row would raise their hands, giving the students in the back row an opportunity to discuss their answers, and then vice versa.'
'A scoutmaster told me that when he was young, he used to communicate in Morse code with his friend. They had adapted the language so that they would shake their pens instead of a tapping on the table. The method worked until they came across a teacher who was a veteran of WWII.'
'Some students hid their iPhone in their calculator!'
'At the college where I work, a Chinese student had flat-out sewn the answers onto her skirt in Chinese characters, and she was able to incorporate them into the dress's designs. But my colleague knew how to speak Mandarin. Too bad for her.'
'A student used invisible ink to write on his arms, and any other exposed skin, and would read it with a UV pen.'
'I have a friend who wrote the answers on the inside of her blouse, so that she could read them by looking down her top. A teacher could hardly crtiticize her for looking at her breasts...'
'For my tests, I let my students bring a single 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper with the formulas written on it. One student wrote the formulas vertically in red ink, and some others horizontally in blue ink. With some old 3D glasses, il would close one eye so he could see only one of the two colors. So he was able to have twice the information on a single sheet of paper. I was so impressed that I let him do it.'
'My father and his twin brother were in different classes. He was strong in math and science, and his brother was smart in everything else. For their tests, they would switch classes. Both of them were the best in their grade!'
