There's nothing more beautiful than the natural. Yet our modern society's commercial requirements seem to place high importance on artificial beauty. 
Pictures of celebrities are retouched to get rid of their flaws and make them look nearly perfect, but far from reality.

However, in a world where looks rule, especially in show business, there are some exceptions, those who resist: famous women who prefer to appear natural, who accept their little flaws because everyone has them. They know that these flaws contribute to their charm and unique character.

Here are 8 celebrities who have decided against the easy Photoshop triggers...

1. American supermodel Chrissy Teigen posted some pictures on her Instagram account showing her bruises and stretch marks on her legs, saying this: 'I think it is important at this time to show women what's 'natural'. Retouched photos have become the norm, and that isn't normal.'

2. British actress Kate Winslet has wanted to be the face of Lancôme, but with a condition: that her photos not be retouched. Here's what she said: 'Brands are turning to women who have become successful in their career choice, and they want people to look up to them. I want to be truthful about who I am. We're all responsible for the image we give to young women so they'll be strong. So these things are important to me.'

3. The American actress, Emma Roberts: 'For me, the most beautiful people are those who 'embrace' their flaws, those who are happy with who they are.'

4. The American singer-actress Zendaya: 'I realized I found my 19 year old hips and torso quite manipulated.' Zendaya expressed it herself on Instagram. 'Retouching photos creates the unrealistic ideals of beauty.  Anyone who knows who I am knows I stand for 'honest and pure' self love."

5. American singer Demi Lovato has agreed to pose for Vanity Fair, but by requiring that her photos not be retouched: 'There have been many times that people or brands used photos of me and retouched my body without my consent. No, no, no...my hips are bigger than that. Can you redo them...? '

8. American comedienne Amy Schumer also posed for the Pirelli calendar. She posted this same photo on her Instagram, adding this comment: 'Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman.  Thank you Annie Leibovitz! '
