Pokémon Go, the new game for the iPhone and Android, has become a social phenomenon. It is built on the gaming platform in the real world and uses real locations to encourage players to find Pokémon characters in their area...

By using GPS coordinates, the game makes wild Pokémon appear in random places. The player knows that he or she is near a Pokémon when the smartphone vibrates. After finding a Pokémon, the player targets it with the smartphone touchscreen and launches a Poké Ball to catch it.
